Welcome to Westminster Academy

Westminster Academy was founded in 2013 by several families with a vision for a school that would train students to love learning and prepare them to think biblically in all areas of life. The founders of Westminster Academy had seen the results of the revival of classical Christian education in schools across this great nation and were compelled to bring it to Tampa.

This vision has been coming to life for the past ten years at Westminster Academy. Over the years, Westminster has grown to 62 students and represents more than 30 households and a dozen churches in the Tampa Bay area.

Westminster Academy is a place where students’ minds are engaged and their hearts are transformed by truth, beauty, and goodness.

At Westminster, we cultivate a timeless foundation of knowledge, critical thinking, and cultural understanding that fosters intellectual growth and equips individuals with the tools to navigate and contribute meaningfully to a complex world.

At Westminster, we provide a spiritual foundation that integrates faith, morality, and intellectual growth, nurturing students to contribute meaningfully to society while remaining grounded in a biblical worldview. Our students hearts and minds are engaged in truth.
